Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations

The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations, otherwise known as LOLER or Lifting Equipment Inspection is a detailed examination of lifting equipment that is carried out by a competent person.

We can offer accredited LOLER inspections of tree climbing equipment for both tree surgeons and ecologists. Typically, LOLER inspections are required every 6 months for lifting equipment and associated accessories used to lift people, and every 12 months for all other lifting and rigging equipment.

Price list (we do not charge VAT):

• Inspection of one climbing kit = £115.00. A £10.00 discount is offered per additional climbing kit.

(up to 20 items including two ropes and one harness), plus certificate of inspection.

• Inspection of one rigging kit = £100.00

(up to 15 items including one rope), plus certificate of inspection.

• Per additional rope: £10.00

• Per additional harness: £10.00

• Per other additional item: £5.00 (for each item over the thresholds described above)

We also offer kit collection and drop-off service for those within 10miles of Stockport, Greater Manchester. This is charged at an additional £40.00.
